The NeoCube is a bunch of tiny super magnets that you can manipulate to create designs as you see fit. Their website has a couple videos to really get a grasp of how you can play with them. I can already think of a couple family members that these would make a great gift for, but frankly their entirely unprofessional website is off-putting.

I agree, I didn’t care for the web-site either…looks kinda hokey and amaturish, don’t order anything from it!

That is a pretty crap website. Neat toy, though.

I could make one of those magnetic bracelets that would energize me and turn my life around! Never mind that blood isn’t ferromagnetic, and magnetism follows the inverse-square law…

Can always count on cerebral humour from Bart. =)

If I ever did get around to playing with these things I’d probably be constantly worried that they’d come too close to something they shouldn’t.

NeoCube is composed of 216 individual high-energy NdFeB magnets. This allows you to create and recreate an outrageous number of shapes and patterns. NeoCube is literally a puzzle with billions of solutions. With all of these possible solutions, you will come up with numerous shapes and patterns for which there is no names, because you will be the first person in history to have created it.
