I almost can’t stand my laptop

When I turned it on this morning it was dead-ass slow. The only recent change was last night it installed the Windows XP security updates… 4 of them. I tried a restart, same thing. Uninstalled the security updates, restarted, still slow. Like wtf.

In reality, I am overdue for a reformat… and it’s not like I don’t have the time… and having to hunt down my install disc will cause me to clean my desk up which is a good thing. I have to backup my 2007 pictures to DVD anyway.

Ideally while I’m reinstalling I won’t be playing my Xbox or Wii but instead cleaning up the rest of my apartment. =) We shall see.

Actually, this process just allows me to procrastinate from writing a cover letter. lol
