It really doesn’t make sense when lyrics sites have incorrect lyrics for artists that post the actual lyrics on their website! Like do they not even search the artist’s site for lyrics first?? I guess they all rely on user submission… users who are idiots… tip: if you don’t know the freakin lyrics, don’t post them. And 98% of lyrics sites all have the same lyrics… so obviously they’re just copying from each other.
As if it’s not bad enough that I have to put up with so many spelling and grammar mistakes online, but incorrect lyrics as well. The internet is just not suited for me. lol.
Course, it’s also fun to just walk down a street and notice all the errors on store signs… how unprofessional and embarrassing.
However, there seems to be some hope - the other day one of our customers at work wrote us a follow-up message:
“Sorry..I should have spellchecked it, or at least proofed this message — I am sorry about the spelling issues.”
I thought that was sweet, not to mention awesome; she is definitely my kind of person. The funny thing was, she only made two typos in her original message. So cute.
