hello, November

This weekend (being Sunday & Monday) I’ve felt like utter crap. Sunday I literally spent 5 hours OUT of bed, and those hours were spent on the couch. Monday Kathie and I watched 3 movies together - 2 we rented and one I owned.

The 2 movies we rented were really horrible, we totally suck at picking movies together! Cause the last time we did so (which was actually a long long time ago, probably like 2 years) the same thing happened. It’s like a weird law of the universe, I think. We picked movies with big names in them that sounded fairly interesting, and just so happened that neither of us had heard of them… we’ve since decided that if we haven’t heard of a movie, there’s a reason for it. So, I suggest no one watch My Blueberry Nights (with Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz) or Margot at the Wedding (Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jack Black).

Also, the last movie I saw in the theatre was Passchendaele, and that also was not very good. Way too much love story drama crap, not enough fighting. I really expected a war movie… I mean, while the fighting was good, there was so very little fighting in this film that I felt totally f’in lied to with their misleading trailers.

Anyways I’m just putting off going to bed because I don’t want my weekend to be over yet since it seemed to go by in a wink…

I hope if you’re American that you vote today, and vote for Obama… I don’t even want to consider what could happen if McCain became president. Hell I’m more scared of Palin being vice president than McCain as president. *shudder*

By the way, we Canadians had a horrible voter turnout for our election a few weeks ago - 59.1%. That’s despicable. And the damn Conservatives are still in office.

I’m depressed now.
