I’m so happy with Sportsnet - broadcasting exhibition games of the Canucks, that is awesome. Yay for the Canucks winning the first 2 games even though they don’t count towards anything. Hockey season is here and I’m ecstatic.

With Matt Cooke having been traded in February and Brendan Morrison signing with Anaheim, my favourite Canucks have been reduced down to a singular Canuck, Mattias Ohlund. Thankfully, he’s always been my #1 fave.

Yesterday Trevor Linden announced his retirement from hockey. He’s a great guy not just in the hockey world but in the real world and I hope he keeps his strong ties with the game (preferably with the Canucks organization) and with the community.
