I've always loved quotes, for as long as I can remember... I used to collect famous quotes that I happened across and didn't want to forget, but around 2003 or 2004 I started saving (mainly funny) quotes from my friends and people I knew.
Most of the quotes come from chatting online with my friends/co-workers. Verbal quips, while awesome, are hard to remember or the conversation runs too fast for me to take a moment to text myself a quote. It's easy to tell who I chat with the most, and periods of time where I simply don't go online to chat.
The best side benefit of having awesome and hilarious quotes to read (and share with my friends) is that they serve as a reminder or memory jogger of my past.
And finally, this site helped me to learn a little about PHP and integrating with databases. =) Yay programming! (... when it doesn't make my brain hurt)

My name is Candice, pretty much everywhere online I'm known as Nietha, and I live in British Columbia, Canada. (What I like to call) web design is a hobby of mine and I consider myself a geek. Most of my free time is spent either on my computer or on my Xbox 360.

I like the idea of a blog but I never seem to be able to keep one going. I mostly blog about boring work-related stuff or videogames; the former is tiresome and the latter takes away from actual gaming time.
I don't have a big dream or goal in life... but it would be nice to win the lotto and just be able to play videogames all day without worrying about paying the bills. lol.
